Project Description:
Tanks Direct was contracted to provide a new aboveground storage tank to be installed in the basement of an existing condominium for the purposes of collecting water from cooling towers. This project project was completed completed in order to achieve achieve LEED points associated associated with the US Green Building Council initiatives.
Project Highlights:
3,000 gallon aboveground steel tank (recycled materials) with custom configuration of manways and openings
Interior tank coating compatible with chilled water
Duplex pump set for puming in water to other sources on‐site
Electronic control system (valves, alarms, level)
