Project Description:
Tanks Direct was contracted to provide a fuel oil tank replacement and upgrade for the emergency generator back up power systems, four (4) new day tanks, and upgrade to two (2) existing day tank systems as well as over 1500 feet of new fuel oil piping. Tanks Direct was also responsible for the removal of the existing underground storage tank as well as all control, power, and communication conduit and wire.
Project Highlights:
Installation of a 25,000 gallon double-wall ACT100U underground fuel oil tank with an ASM pressure vessel rating
Coordination and removal of portion of the parking ramp in order to place the underground storage tank in the basement of an existing building
Electronic Simplex remote fuel fill station
New tank monitoring system w/ leak detection integrated into the Building Management System (BMS)
