Tanks Direct provided one (1) six foot diameter, 3,000 gallon double wall fiberglass oil water separator and one (1) double wall vertical wet well to the Alpha Ridge Landfill in Howard County, MD. This type of oil water separator allowed our customer to select the appropriate flow rate and spill capacity that was specifically required. One of the benefits of using a fiberglass tank was resistance to corrosive elements in the solution being separated. Generally, the use of an oil water separator helps to lessen the impact of oily runoff on the surrounding environment.
